The beloved father of the Chief Sanghanayake of Ruhunu Magampattuwa, Venerable Kobawaka Dhamminda Nayaka Thero, Venerable Weerakoon Arachchige Martin Singhno has passed away.

The beloved father of the Chief Sanghanayake of Ruhunu Magampattuwa, Venerable Kobawaka Dhamminda Nayaka Thero, Venerable Weerakoon Arachchige Martin Singhno has passed away.

Ruhunu Magampattuwa Chief Sanghanayake, Hambantota District Sangha Conference and Kataragama Shasanarakshaka Bala Mandala Honorary Chairman Hela Bodu Bala Amathuwa Honorary Chairman paid his last respects to the beloved father of the four great temples including the Kataragama Purana Kiri Vihara and the historic Kataragama Kirivehera Rajamaha Vihara, Weerakoon Arachchige Martin Singho.

The last religious rites will be performed at the house on Saturday, August 15th at 02.00 pm, after which the body will be taken in a procession to the Warakagoda Public Cemetery where the last rites will be performed.
