Kirivehera Raja Maha Viharaya extends far beyond daily worship. The temple runs a Dhamma school, welcomes meditation retreats, and supports charitable programs that reach the surrounding villages of Kataragama.

In addition to all these services, uniforms, books, and learning materials are provided free of charge to children studying at the temple's Dhamma school annually. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Incumbent Thero, pregnant mothers are provided with all the necessary facilities, free eyeglasses are provided, medical clinics are held with the participation of specialist doctors, and a gift bag containing food, clothing, and hygiene items is provided to the families who donated to the temple's four peruvians. You also have the opportunity to support and support all these services.
